This work was written by Dava Sobel and tells the true story of John Harrison, an 18th century clockmaker and the inventor of the marine chromometer which solved the problem of calculating longitude at sea.


CONDITION

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally lovely with the slightest lean and shelf wear to the tail of the spine. The wrap is excellent with sunning to the spine and slight marks to the joints of the verso. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages.
