Rahador wood grows in Mexico and south Texas desert areas. It is often know as Mexican iron wood and Great Lead Tree usually grows to only fifty-five feet in height.

As a world renowned artisan, I was able to form this fine writing instrument through a painstaking process that involved several hours and stages in order to present a finely polished work of art. Each blank was measured and drilled before inserting a brass tube. They were then trued on each end before being placed on my Rikon midi-lathe for the shaping using various chisels. When the desired shape was achieved I then took them through a multi-stage sanding process finishing with nine steps of micro-mesh. I then apply ten coats of Cyanoacrylate for durability and deeper sheen, followed by a three steps of friction polish, ending with carnauba wax resulting in a glass like finish.

This fine writing instrument is destined to provide years of pleasure for the discriminating user. Its unique, one-of-a-kind design will speak volumes to your individuality, knowing that you are carrying the pride of handmade craftsmanship that is often lacking in a world of duplicity.
