Antique Rare Royal Crown Derby Imari 9" Plate Bloor Era 1806-1825
Up for auction is this wonderful, antique Royal Crown Derby footed 9" diameter plate manufactured in England in the early 1800s during the time period of Robert Bloor's takeover of the business.
This plate is made of white bone china and hand-decorated in the Imari pattern with a cobalt blue tree and orange and gold floral elements and accents.
Marked on the bottom with the crown, crossed batons and D trademark dating this plate between 1806 and 1825.
The glaze is glossy with fine consistent crazing and the trademark on the bottom is easy to read. Some rubbing of the gilt.
