Description: - An Edwardian sterling silver-gilt sugar and cream set. The set consists of a sugar bowl, cream jug, and sugar tongs. The bowl and cream jug are of round form, embossed with a garland and flowerhead design with vacant heart shaped cartouche, the tongs with foliate engraved decoration and heart shaped cartouche; all stored within a fitted case. 

The sugar and cream set are all hallmarked with the makers mark of Robert Stebbings, London, with the cream jug and tongs hallmarked with the date letter 'h' for 1903, the sugar bowl marked with the date letter 'i' for 1904.

Assay: - .925 (Sterling Silver).

Period: - Early 20th Century.

Date: - 1903 - 1904.

Maker: - Robert Stebbings.

Engraving: - Unengraved.

Measurement: - The sugar bowl measures approximately 5.5cm (height) x 8.4cm (width) x 8.4cm (depth). The cream jug measures 4.2cm (height) x 8.2cm (width) x 6.2cm (depth). The tongs measures 10.2cm (length).

Weight: - 149.5g (combined weight).

Condition: - The sugar and cream set are in good condition. Light surface scratches, and marks commensurate with age. There are no splits, damage, or repairs. Slight rubbing to the gilt wash. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
