The Pilot Deluxe was launched in 1976 as the model line immediately above the Pilot Custom. It has slimmer and more elegant profile. It was made to be suitable with business attire. This black overlay pattern is photoengraved on stainless steel. Original retail price in 1977 was 10,000 yen.
