Up for your consideration is a stunning Statue of Hermes. This was picked up by my Grandfather somewhere in his many travels. He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. This is a very heavy piece for its size. It’s cold to the touch. It sounds and feels like it’s made of bronze or medal. It maybe something other than metal. Maybe clay or concrete. It’s an impressive piece which has been displayed in my beach house for many years. This antique bronze sculpture depicts the Greek god Hermes and is believed to have been produced during the Art Nouveau period in Italy around 1890. The statue stands at 14 inches in height and has a medium size, with a bust format. The artist who created this masterpiece is Lost To Time, and although it is not signed, it is an original piece and one of a kind.

The sculpture features intricate metalwork and is handmade, adding to its unique appeal. Its cultural and historical significance is enhanced by its portrayal of a Greek god in the Indo style.
