Lovely Expressionist glazed ceramic sculpture of a seated, pensive Jesus.

The work brings to mind Georges Rouault but we have no idea who made this...although it is initialed under the base, rather illegibly "J. P." ? "J. R."? "d. R."?

A very nice and contemplative piece!

Measures 9 inches tall x 5 x 3 inches

Some wear to the crown of thorns at top, but otherwise in good condition; please see photos.
