I'm selling my 65 Magna, not riding much anymore. I'll be 83 this summer and if it falls over I couldn't pick it up by myself and would have to call the girl next door to help. I have been playing with 1979 Honda CBXs and 1983 Honda Magnas for decades. When I find them they are in sorry shape and have been in storage, some times for 33 years. It amazes me that they clean up as well as they do. This Magna was found in southern Minnesota in a corner of the previous owners shed, for 15 yrs. He thought he was going to restore it, like many guys do. It is easy to dismantle, but soon realized he could not put it back together. That's where I come in. I loaded the bike and 8-9 boxes of parts and headed home to Dayton Mn. I cleaned the bike and parts and put it together again. It needed the typical new parts like rubber fuel lines, new cables, new tires, battery, gaskets, a couple of light bulbs, fuses, new oil, oil filter ect. and a lot of elbow grease. It was that factory horrible purple paint that fades into lavender. I changed it to black as it should be. The 83 V65 Magna was the fastest production motorcycle on the planet. This V65 will go from 0-100 MPH in 6 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 10.2 seconds at 136 MPH out of the box. The top speed of the 83 Magna is around 165 MPH. This Magna is a beast, and should not be your first bike. It doesn't look like its ever been down, and is straight as an arrow, and is very tight, and the engine is very quite nothing rattling around inside. It starts as soon as you push the button, and the V 4 sounds awesome. Today the bikes look like a snowmobile, This Magna looks like a real motorcycle and still is among the top 3 fastest Super Bikes that are street legal on this planet period. The price of a well maintained Super Bike today is twice what is was just a couple of years ago, they are extremely rare and in this condition even more rare. Google a 1983 Honda V65 Magna for  more goodies about the 1983 Honda Magnas. I will help with finding a shipper. Thanks for looking in.....Dick
