Honda XR650R 2000

Bottom end / crack case with transmission

Theses motors had very minimal changes across all years (2000-2006)

Infact some of the part numbers only changed as they were from a new supplier not that the part was any different or changed

I purchased this bike in parts as a project, the motor was already disassembled the speedo that came with the bike had a reading just under 18,000k's I can't cat if it was the original speedo

the cylinder head had corrosion at a water jacket that lead to the disassemblely

I have a clear ppsr certificate listing the vin and engine number and will supply it with the sale

As highlighted in pictures the left crank case has some chain derailment / rash marks this appears to have failed at low rpm

the upper chain guard mout has on minor damage thread smooth and near full depth

the clutch input shaft housing bears a few marks but no cracks or signs of oil leakage

the lower chain guard Mount is damaged and the last actor pin is missing no cracks or signs of oil leakage some thread in still intact and runs smoothly

ideally it will want a aftermarket case guard that has the extra mount point for strength

the right case has no signs of damage just makes and scratches that come fromm normal off-road use

23220-MBN-671 superceded

the counter shaft has minimal sign of water rotates freely and straight

shift shaft has no damage or marks from chain derailment the splines are in great condition

the outter covers the mid right cover all clutch,& kick start shaft assembly has been removed

pick up preferred but will work in if you can arrange pick up by transportation
