These brakes are in pristine condition, no scrapes or marks and pads are 99% of new. These could easily pass for new.

These are Record brakes from the 11 speed era. The front brake is the dual pivot type and the rear brake is the center pivot type. The advantage of this type of rear brake is that they are lighter. As far as stopping power this configuration has proven to be just as effective as dual pivot front and rear. The reason is that you don’t need the power of the dual pivot brake in the rear, when stopping is 60% controlled by the front brake. The dual pivot rear is more of a marketing strategy.

I purchased these for a classic steel bike build, but after purchasing these I found a set of Delta brakes that will look great on the steel bike, even though they will not stop the bike as well.
