The necklace is in excellent
condition. Mixed medium. The moss
green stone appears to have a hairline crack down the
side. It is a naturally occurring flaw, it
could be a vein, it is difficult to
determine from the images alone (looks to be a vein though). It
has not influenced the values.
NOTES
The pendant is stamped 950 but the
necklace is stamped 925. The
pictorial stamp on the leaf and the
actual pendant design has a strong
Native American influence. It is a
lovely necklace. The design is well
balanced and well crafted.
Unfortunately, we were unable to
identify the signature. The stones
could be one of several pink minerals
including quartz, Apatite, pink marble
etc. The large stone is moss agate,
based on its appearance. The pendant itself looks to be handcrafted shaped into an owl. Pink marble is often prized for its aesthetic appeal and is commonly used in high-end construction and interior design projects, which can drive up its price.
It is a beautiful combination of stones.
The only anomaly is the two different
grades of silver. The gram weight
does not influence the values, since
the major weight here is the stone
component.
