Vintage Rice Cookbook by Southern Rice Industry New Orleans LA 1935 Acceptable

Condition: Overall cookbook is in acceptable condition. Paperback , staple bound. Staples are intact. Covers do show wear. Front cover wear around edges , corners , bend in the middle of the cover , upper right hand corner has a stain. Back cover wear around edges and corners. Upper right hand corner of pages have a bend as well. Pages 1 thru 26 also show the bend in the middle of the pages like the front cover. Pages have wear from use. Some slight yellowing of pages mainly on the edges of the paper. Looks to have been lovingly used. Still a very readable/usable cookbook.

Recipes have been tested and approved by the home economics department of Louisiana State University. Miss Suzanne Thompson , Assistant Professor of Foods and Nutrition directed the work.
