Wonderful large sized solid sterling silver Hip Flask with Full engine turning to both side of the flask, with the benefit of an empty / vacant cartouche which ideal for personalising this wonderful hip flask, bayonet fittings, the body is oblong shaped and slightly curved form, engine turning has no wear or low points, with an excellent bayonet twist top lid and standing on a flat base.

Ideal shape for a coat / jacket or trousers pocket as its gently curved.

The Bayonet twist top mechanism is working perfectly
and a tight fit when closed.
Very good cork / seal to the flask, that will last for many year to come.

The flask has been tested for leaks and is found to be completely water / Liquid tight.

All parts of the flask are individually Hallmarked, underside of main body, the bayonet arms mechanism.
The hallmarks and makers mark are stamped clearly
The base is clearly stamped with :
047ET  5/16 PT   Made in England and Full British Hallmarks .

 Superb condition, no nasty, dents, bruises or nasty scratches, Bayonet mechanism is perfect and smooth to open and close ,has been tested for leaks and found to be completely liquid tight, seal / cork is in very good condition & will last for years to come.
No engravings or monograms, Empty / Vacant cartouche. 
Engine turning is in wonderful condition, no wear and low points, looks amazing.
Silver shines with a quality gleam.

This hip flask is in superb condition, it is 63 years of age, I have tried to described the condition as accurately as possible, it will show some very light signs of use on the highly polished sterling silver sides,  although they will be very light as they also are in wonderful condition.
Very Rare to find en engine turned hip flask in this wonderful / exceptional condition,
