Here I have a very ornate Victorian window sash lock. It is stamped JUN-4  JUN-13 187? So it is very old. The end of the latch is made of brass and the rest of the latch is made of cast iron. The lock is very sturdy. The latch is 2 3/8'' wide and the keeper is 2 1/2'' wide. The holes are 1 1/2'' and 1 5/8'' center respectively. Maybe just what you need to finish out your project.
