You will be bidding on X-Men (1st series) issues 124-129 & 138-140 & 143 & 144.  A total of 11 issues.

All of these issues were written by Chris Claremont.  John Byrne was his co-plotter until issue 143 when John left the book.  John Byrne & Terry Austin were the illustrators until 143 when they both left the book and then Brent Anderson and Josef Rubenstein filled in as illustrators on issue 144.  The issues were all produced between 1979 & 1981.

The Plots:  Jean Gray's transformation into Phoenix continued to be a sub-plot in these issues.  Sprite (Kitty Pryde) became a full member of the team after Phoenix's death in issue 137 (137 is not included in this mixed lot).  Cyclops took a temporary leave of absence from the team after Jean died.

I took multiple pictures of all the issues on a white background so you could see the condition of each issue.  All the issues are complete and in pretty good shape.  There is a small tear near the issue number on the cover of issue 126 but that's the only tear I saw.  The whites of the interior pages have aged as expected and I'd place all the issues in the Good category  Please remember that I haven't had any of the issues professionally graded so examine all the pictures carefully.
