This is a beautiful desk which my husband purchased with the intention of conducting a full detailed restoration on it.  Unfortunately, although it is fully complete, sound, and in good working order, he has not had the time to do this and it remains in need of some restoration in order to get it into showroom condition (see images). It really is a beautiful piece and similar fully restored items often sell for many thousands of pounds.  This is a genuinely low starting bid (much lower than my husband paid) as we now need the space.
