Believe this to be a late 19th century  century monk's (holy oil or holy water) bottle sewn into pouch of homespun red (hand dyed)  wool fabric and yellow / golden lining.  Exceptionally vibrant colors, likely natural dyes. Lining hand-stitched. Brass Stopper secured by three types of cord and hard tight grained wood end piece.  Secured with natural silk? or yak ? cord and attached to brass fittings. Flask material not visible as stitching not removed. Based on examining interior of flask I believe this is copper.  Bottom corners of bag are not stitched closed. From my research these were worn outside robes and suspended from belt. See photos for condition 7.5" wide (width varies top to bottom x  about 9" long folded. Flask about 1 3/4" wide.
Finest example.
