For the knowledgeable collector, offered here is a rare find, the signed and numbered limited edition complete set of Steuben Four Spheres.  Vintage designs in new in red box condition.  Each is numbered 33/500 and initialed by the artist designer Eric Hilton.  Mr. Hilton designed almost all of the very rare 18K gold copper wheel hand engraved Steuben jewelry pieces.  In addition he is famous for the Masterpiece Innerland which is in a revered spot in the Corning Museum of Glass.  If you search youtube you can see videos of Mr. Hilton as he discusses some of his designs.

Eric Hilton is a graduate of the Edinburg College of Fine Arts. He was a Steuben Master designer for many years and also taught at several Universities in the US, Canada and Scotland.

These authentic Steuben crystal (made in USA of Steuben's original 10M formula optically pure glass) gems are in scratch free, new in box condition and have no scratches, no damage, no nicks or chips, and no display marks to the crystal. Each is fully signed Steuben in script, numbered and initialed by Eric Hilton.

These designs were classified by Steuben as a Major Work (in league with other Steuben pieces like Balloon Rally, Cathedral, Grecian Urn, New York New York.)

Each magnum sculpture measures approx. 5" in diameter with the weight (approx. 5lbs) and clarity that Steuben was renown for. Each will come packed in it's good condition vintage velvet lined fitted red leather box (with no stains and no mildew or nicotene odors etc.)

Steuben Glass was the premier American glass company founded by Frederick Carder in 1903. It ranked as the world's foremost artisan glass house. Handmade by American craftsmen at the works in Corning NY, it was frequently the United States' gift of State to foreign dignitaries. Steuben marketed no "seconds," items that did not meet their exacting standards were destroyed by being smashed in a bin. Steuben, a recognized luxury brand and the ultimate in art glass.
