We are selling our beloved foldy. He is in need of some small renovations and comes with spare parts for this to be done. We were going to complete this ourselves and keep him, but due to health and storage issues, we are no longer in a position to do this. Some background:

We paid £800 for him, which in hindsight was a little steep. We have replaced some parts and have purchased some parts, ready to be put on him. As he is in the process of having changes made, we are reflecting this in the price and only looking for £300. Unfortunately, we had to stop work approximately 2yrs ago, as my husband broke his wrist, which was not healing properly. We then decided to move house and no longer have enough room to open him at our new property. We last opened him in August 2023, packed him up, brought him to the new property, where he has been undercover until the weather was right to look to sell.

Good Parts:

- I cleaned his interior with mold cleaner, when we first got him and since then, we have not had to do this again, suggesting he is at least dry

- He had a new tow hitch fitted 2yrs ago, as the old one was clunky when breaking

- the roof sliders for when opening have been replaced

- any broken window latches have been replaced

- has all his internal bits, which are all in working order. The original shelf/cabinet light does work, but the wiring and battery have been removed, as we were going to completely renew the electrics

- he has poles for the panoramic window, but not the sails

- He has an original awning, but it has seen better days. The panels are pretty shot, but we have used it without them, to screen from the sun. It could just do with some patchwork and sewing skills

- There are a load of kitchen bits inside, but as I cannot currently get in to remove them... free stuff!

The bad bits:

- The previous owner had a blow out, which destroyed the original wheel arch, which is why we were doing work on that side of him. He currently has a makeshift plywood box, which does the job fine but we have an original replacement wheel arch for him, for someone ready to do the work.

- I was in the middle of restoring his box seats, so we bought a second pair to slot in (for folding purposes) whilst I did this. I have got as far as having replacement cut to measure plywood panels cut. So they will need to be fitted to the frames, the whole thing sanded and then varnished, painted, whatever you want to do. Just be aware, for collection, that there are some seat frames inside, but also some in my cellar to go with him.

- He did not have much in terms of electrics. Just a battery for the internal lights and could not be hooked up, as all that had long gone. We took the wiring and battery out, when we removed the box seats, as we were looking to completely rewire him, during that process.

- As a result of him having no wiring, his rear lights do not work, but we have a light board for transporting, you just need to attach a number plate.

- the lever bar thingy for opening (I am sure it has an official title) is loose and will need securing. We had been opening him without this, which we were fine with, it's just not as easy to do.

I think that is it. If I remember anything else, I shall add it.
