I have a number of other Alpinestars jackets, including another Celer with CE certification. Consequently, this is the jacket I use least.

For added safety, I added  Alpinestars level 2 Nucleon chest protector and Nucleon level 2  back protector. Alpinestars level 1 shoulder and elbow protectors supplied together with the cold weather liner.

You can add your own level 2 to the shoulders and elbows if you with or put the level 1 items in.
