A complete Army Officer's No.2 service dress uniform to a Major in the Staffordshire Regiment.


The uniform comprises service dress tunic and trousers, a fawn all ranks shirt and a Sam brown belt with cross strap.


All items are in very good condition with no damage or significant service wear.


The tunic bears bi-metal Officer's collar badges with cloth backing, staybrite buttons and Majors rank crowns to the epaulettes. There is a black lanyard to the left shoulder.


There is a tailor's label from Hector Power of Regent Street, London, named to S. Johnson esq and dated 3/65.


The matching trousers have no label; they have zip flies and fitted braces which hook to metal loops tailored into the trousers.


Approximate size by external measurement is as follows:-


Pit to pit 20 inches

Base of collar to skirt 28 inches

Shoulder to shoulder 18 inches

Waist 36 inch

Sleeve length 26 inches


Trousers waist 34 inches

Inside leg 29 inches


The shirt is a size 37cm collar which equates to a 14 1/2


The Sam brown belt is also in very good condition and measures between 30 and 34 inches.
