The Caran d'Ache Hong Kong 1997 fountain pen is an exclusive writing instrument produced on the occasion of the return of Hong Kong to China in 1997. 

The fountain pen is made of brass and decorated with gold plated details. The fountain pen features an 18-karat gold nib in the size M (medium) and comes in a special gift box. This fountain pen is a collector's item and a symbol of the historical significance of Hong Kong's return to China. With 104 grams the pen is very heavy and feels solid. It is the limited no. 1697/1997.
