Circular, with gadrooned leaf and shell-cast everted square rim, the hinged cover with fluted dome, urn finial and shell-form thumbpiece, the reeded angular handle with foliate thumbpiece, the body fluted to the lower half, the cover engraved with a crest, with a later removable blue glass liner. 8cm high overall. Rubbed marks to the side and part-marked to the lid. The solid silver mustard pot weighs 137 grams without the blue glass liner. In very good condition with no dents or dings. 210 years old!
