This laundry bag has the safety pin that Identifies it as being from the USS Arizona which was sunk during the Pearl Harbor attack. This obviously was not on the ship at the time of the attack. This probably came from the laundry room on base or is from a sailor who was discharged before the attack. Either way pieces that were part of the USS Arizona history and sailed on that vessel are pretty rare. This came from the estate of a big WW2 collector here in Arizona.

This vintage blue indigo denim duffle laundry bag was used by the US Navy during World War II on the USS Arizona. It is an original item from that period and has not been modified in any way.
