A rare numbered limited edition set commemorating the 150th anniversary of the birth of Beatrix Potter. This set dates from 2016, and was an edition of 250 of which this is number 168. The set comprises of: The Tale of Peter Rabbit - limited new edition of the original privately printed tale; a facsimile edition of The Times newspaper dated 28th July 1866; a facsimile edition of the cover of The Times newspaper dated 30th July 1866 including the birth announcement of Beatrix Potter; a personalized edition of Beatrix Potter's letter to Noel Moore; a Royal Mint 150th Anniversary Peter Rabbit Silver proof 50p coin. The set is all contained in wooden presentation box lined with red velvet. The silver coin currently sells for in excess of $500. The set is in excellent condition with just some very light wear to the wooden box and some wear to the white cardboard sleeve.
