Vintage hand colored pochoir print, after a 1907 Picasso watercolor study for Les Demoiselles d'Avignon.

This plate is #6 is from the Pablo Picasso Fifteen Drawings portfolio (limited edition of 500), published in New York in 1946 by Albert Carman, City Island, NY. The sheet size is 18 3/4 x 12 5/8 inches (475 x 320 mm) and is a nice heavy paper. Signed in the plate (not by hand). Only 500 of these portfolios were produced, and very few of the prints are available outside of their folio as stand alone art, and very few of the portfolios are ever for sale.

Overall good condition, some yellowing/toning due to and consistent with age. Minor wear on corners due to being outside of the folio. Marked #8 in pencil in lower right corner of print, but this is in error since the plate is actually #6. This print was purchased from the estate of a prolific art collector in Texas.

The paper of this print has some minor waving as seen in the photos, if it is professionally reframed the issue can be corrected.

Nice vintage frame with beaded molding.
