For sale is my own 1978 Meccano Motorised construction Set 4. Fully complete, in excellent, lightly playworn condition. ALL parts present, & most are totally unused. Manuals (Set 4 and Set 1 instruction manuals are included) are still crisp, non yellowed, and unfaded are glossy & like new. There are also 3 FULL untouched sets of the MECCANO stickers that came with the set ready to use.

There is some light damage to the cardboard lid of the box along the bottom edge which has partially seperated, as well as the usual small patches of yellowing where old "sellotape" had been applied, but overall in very good shape for its age.

Box and inlays also in very good shape minus a few damages (the rubber of the grey tyres has eaten into the expanded polystyrene of the storage tray over the years).

I've no "D cell" batteries with which to test it, but the motor, cables and switches are all in excellent condition and I've no reason to believe that they're not fully working, they were when I last used them.
