Vintage 1956 Advance 7945 American Designer Suzy Perette 14 Fitted Bodice Dress.

Wide, wide silhouette! Molded bodice, seams at sides front and back (for fitted waist line) extend to Hipline. Below each each seam, skirt breaks out into very deep inverted pleat having wide inset for added fullness. Low V neck line front and back. Body and brief sleeve in one, underarm gusset fitting. Center back zipper. Dress lining, novelty belt, both optional.

Suggested fabrics are cotton, silk, taffeta, brocade, dress wools or synthetics. Suggested fabrics for the lining are taffeta, and woven or non-woven interfacing.

Suggested notions: matching thread, 18 inch neck type zipper, seam binding, novelty belt optional.

This pattern is a size 14 from 1956 so please check your personal measurements to make sure the pattern will fit you. Corresponding body measurements for this pattern for this size 14 are waist 26 1/2 inches, hip (measured 7 inches below natural waist line) is 35 inches, back length from the base of the neck to the hem is 46 1/2 inches.

I have gone through the pattern to make sure that all of the pieces are here and they are all present and accounted for. As you can see from the picture of the gusset, all the pieces have been cut out with crimping shears but you can still see the black line.
