This is an early model with the LCD display. (Later models used an electroluminescent screen that was easier to read but eliminated the possibility of running on battery.)

System boots to MS-DOS. Power switch seems to "stick" sometimes and may need to be cycled for the unit to power up. Expansion unit not tested.
