Up for auction is one Singer 221 Featherweight Sewing Machine powered by a 3-110 motor.
Condition is as is, as shown. With belt removed, the 3-110 motor spins up smoothly but makes a slight intermittent clicking sound. One can turn the rear wheel by hand and verify the sewing head mechanism works; however it is too stiff to be turned by the belt and motor.
Also includes a foot switch and power plug. Please note the foot switch needs to be rebuilt. The variable carbon resistance pack is broken. Cords were replaced *only* to test the motor.
When I photographed it I didn't notice that the chrome nut on the side of the sewing needle mechanism had come loose, visible in some pictures. Rest assured both threaded shaft and nut are in good condition and secure as visible in the 2nd photo.
