Description: - A Victorian Sterling Silver Novelty Cream-Pail. The cream pail of oval form with swing handle, hinged cover, beak-form spout, and plain interior . 

Hallmarked with the makers mark of Joseph Braham, London, and the date letter 'K' for 1885.

Assay: - .925 (Sterling Silver).

Period: - Late 19th century.

Date: - 1885.

Maker: - Joseph Braham.

Engraving: - Stamped to the base with the retailers mark 'Percy Edwards & Co. 71. Piccadilly.W.'.

Measurement: - 6.5cm (height) x 8.0cm (width) x 6.3cm (depth).

Weight: - 138.1 grams.

Condition: - The cream-pail is in good condition. Light surface scratches, and marks commensurate with age. Slight rubbing to the outer hallmarks. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
