PS3 Service - Delid & Thermal Paste Service

This service covers deldding both the CPU and GPU in your PS3* and replacing all thermal paste with higher quality paste. For thermal paste, I have a few options for you to choose from:

- Thermal Grizzly

- Arctic MX-6

- Arctic Silver 5

If you’re unsure, I can pick for you. Additionally, any built up dust inside the system will be cleaned out with an air compressor.

*This service only applies to the "fat" PS3's (CECHAxx - CECHQxx models) and CECH-20xx slim models.

Why should I get this service?

The original PS3's launched over 17 years ago and shipped with infamously cheap thermal paste from the factory which caused overheating issues. Operating these systems at high temperatures can cause the graphics processor to die and also shorten the lifespan of other components. Delidding both processors and fully replacing the thermal paste is an absolute *necessity* to keep these systems running cool and reliably.

Turnaround time should be less than a few days but please allow up to a week. I will communicate with you throughout the process.

Buyer is responsible for shipping cost both ways. Highly recommend double boxing and use of bubble wrap. I have two shipping options available for the return shipping in order to offer better prices depending on desired shipping speed. Please make your choice upon purchase.
