The songbook was published by the Cistercians in Grüssau, under the direction of Bernhard Rosa, abbot of the Cistercian monastery in Grüssau (1660 1696). Jacob Arlet was a Cistercian monk who later became a painter and engraver. It is a font for the Church of the Holy Fourteen Helpers in the town of Ullersdorf. The book contains the short biographies of the holy helpers, songs in their honor with the corresponding sheet music.
