Industar-26m has a very successful design: it is very simply arranged (easy to maintain), and its focusing mechanism has large reserves. This allows not only to reduce the MDF of the lens, but also to remake it for a SLR camera. All Industar-26m are equipped with a wonderful round aperture with dark petals, which should have a positive effect on the bokeh of the lens. Most Industar-26m have well-chosen lens coatings that introduce minimal deviations in the transmission spectrum of the lens.

Industar-26m is a good lens of the 50s era. It has good potential when used on modern DSLRs and mirrorless cameras, although it does require some effort. This lens is definitely worth a try if you are a fan of the good old tessars.
