Servox electrolarynx is a speech aid device directed towards laryngectomees that have lost their ability to produce speech. The usage of an electrolarynx allows them to communicate in a quick and natural manner without resorting to other means such as pen and paper.

Servox a Western German company developed and manufactured this device and it was imported into the US in the late 70’s - early 80’s by the Siemens corporation.

This item is used (sold in Oct. 1980), but the device itself looks to be clean and in good shape. The batteries seem to be done for, but of course they are over 40 years old. I do believe the device could work with a new or fresh battery. The “talk” button pushes and feels like it still makes contact, and side dials move without issue.
