Once a nationally known photographer (TV Guide, Essence, Ebony) of the West Coast glitterati, Ronnie Phillips (1946-  )
transformed himself over a period of years into a nationally known Atlanta painter.  The 1989 work at hand is one of a suite of
hand-colored photographic prints that marked the beginning of the self-conversion from shooter to painter that made Phillips a household
name.  (At least in the households of Halle Berry, Cecily Tyson, Damon Wayans, David Alan Grier, Spike Lee, Bill Duke, Dionne
Warwick, CCH Pounder and Glynn Turman, to name a few.)

This 5 x 6 1/2 inch hand colored photo entitled "Final Call" is in brand-new condition, double-matted and brushed stainless steel-
framed  to 10 x 8 inches, ink titled and signed by Phillips on the mat.
