Item up for bid is a wonderful vintage countertop display case made for Montague Rod and Reel Company ferrule and silk assortments. This case is marked on the front of the case body and on the top front of the slide out tray. Case was found with 4 spools of Gudebrod nylon inside of it which will be included. One spool has a loose and detached label. Wood body of the case shows some old surface paint residue with patina and surface wear throughout. Wood shows some wear around edges and corners with surface chipping around some of the screws. Pull out drawer shows some surface wear from use and patina consistent with age. Glass could use a light cleaning and shows no chips, cracks or breaks. Back side of the display has a worn label identifying this piece as being manufactured by the Pioneer Display Company. Case measures 4-3/8" top to bottom at the back by 15-1/2" wide by 7-1/2" front to back. Amazing vintage advertising piece that comes fresh to the market.
