Portable radio receivers "Mercury-210" and "Mercury-210-2" have been produced by the Ufa Switching Equipment Plant since 1987. All-wave portable radio receiver of the 2nd class "Mercury-210" (Since 1988, "Mercury RP-210" and "Mercury RP-210-2") is designed to receive radio stations in the countries of the Far East, Northeast, Shortwave (25, 31, 42 and 49 m) and VHF-FM. The range switching is mechanical, the frequency setting is electronic. The radio receiver has a silent frequency and automatic adjustment in the FM path, disconnecting the batteries when powered from the mains, a whip antenna, and tone control for low and high frequencies. The receiver is equipped with a 3GDSh8-4 broadband head. Power supply from a 220 V network, through a power supply or 6 elements 343. Sensitivity in LW - 1.8, MW - 0.7, KB - 0.25, VHF - 0.05 mV/m. The frequency range of the AM path is 150...3150, FM - 150...10000 Hz. Maximum output power 2 W. RP dimensions - 285 x 185 x 57 mm. Weight 1.6 kg. The Mercury-210-2 receiver is distinguished by the absence of VHF telephones and other tone controls. Since 1992, the receiver has been simplified, the tone controls have been removed (they have been replaced with plugs), a fine-tuning knob, AFC and BSN buttons, scale backlighting, and an indication of station settings.
