The Beatles centrefold pin-up poster Girl magazine UK 1964 with Beatle wig-referencing comic strip on the back. Measures 18 x 12 inches.
I haven't been able to date this exactly - which should give some indication of how rarely it comes up - but Girl used colour photos from the same session on a cover in July 1964 and another centrefold portrait in the September, so I'm fairly sure this is one of theirs and from around that same period.
Girl was one of maybe half a dozen similar comic-strip-heavy girl's early teenage girl's interest magazines, and there's a strip on the back of the poster in which the heroine, struggling to attract the attention of the boy of her dreams, grumbles 'I might as well be wearing a Beatle wig!'
Condition: Some creases and small area of paper loss to the left border. See pics.
