This is fitted to the outer lens area of the standard 40m depth rated waterproof outer housing
(this has no case screws around the outer black lens area).
Magenta filters are used in green fresh or salt water to colour correct the recorded video once you go beneath 5ft in depth.

This is the most lightweight and least impactful filter for use in green fresh or salt waters.

This filter fits GoPro 40m standard waterproof outer housings that have no silver screws around the square black outer lens area.
It will not fit GoPro 60m 'dive' outer housings or the Super Suit that do have silver screws around the outer lens area.
