   Mercedes-Benz W 124 - 230 E Police

In December 1984, a new model generation was presented in the middle series, which was intended to succeed the 123 series. Technically, the cars are closely based on the compact class in order to achieve a significant reduction in fuel consumption through aerodynamic optimization and the use of weight-reducing materials. As early as 1989, a completely revised model range was presented at the Frankfurt IAA, which brought with it a number of changes: In addition to the side flank protection strips, the exterior mirror housings painted in the vehicle color and the improved seats also represented an innovation. It was not for nothing that the W124 series was also popular as a police emergency vehicle. The miniaturized model of the 230 E Sedan W 124 also follows in these footsteps. The precision model, which is hand-assembled from over 126 individual parts, presents itself not only with a faithful representation of all interior details, but also with a white/green body and the lettering "POLICE" on the driver and passenger side. Six parts (doors, hood and tailgate) can also be opened on the 1:18 scale model. It is delivered in Mercedes-Benz Classic packaging. This includes a screwdriver and a glove so that you can remove the sedan without leaving fingerprints on the windows or body.
