Wiring loom constructed using genuine Porsche parts to enable owners to retrofit the cruise control option to their car.

Removable self adhesive labels on each wire for easy identification of individual wires.

Owners will also need to purchase necessary stalk/switches, and have the function enabled - this is not included in this auction.

This loom is for the earlier (pre-facelift) Porsche models (Boxster 986 2000-2002 and 996 Carrera around 2000–2001 (C4 1999-2001)This loom consists of four wires from the switch connector going to the DME and fuse box, and an additional wire from the cluster going to the DME. The cable from the cluster to the DME can be trimmed off if not required as in the case of later 2001> 986 models.

Please note -There are a variety of instrument clusters and configurations so please take time to check the cable you need. There are guides available online at sites such as renntech, pelican parts, BoxaNet etc. Although the installations is largely the same, the wiring does vary slightly by model.

This cable is needed for vehicles which control the cruise function controlled by the DME/engine management unit.

Cabling is made too long to allow easier fitting, some spare connectors will be included if you wish to trim cables.

For a modest additional charge we can also enable the option if required - this can be done with the modules on the vehicle or by sending us the modules - Please feel free to get in touch for this service
