Our older sister, Jane Graber, has been handcrafting miniature pottery (1:12 scale) for about 45 years, and is a listed IGMA artisan. As Jane moves toward retirement, she no longer does artisan shows, and she has considerably slowed down her pot-throwing. As miniature collectors are aware, Jane is internationally acclaimed as a ceramic miniaturist.

Jane has been creating miniature redware pottery since a few years after she began crafting miniatures. Redware was part of the daily tableware in the early American colonies of the late 18th century and the early 19th century in the U.S. Her sgraffito ware is particularly special because it requires multiple layers of glaze, and then a meticulous process of scraping through the layers to create the desired design.

In this offering, we have one of Jane's redware lidded coffee pots, this one 15/16" high to the top of the beeswaxed-on lid. It's a great little addition to any collection of Jane's pots.

We are happy to combine shipping if you buy more than one pot from our offerings this week, and we ship anywhere in the world as well, so please feel free to bid.
