TEAC T H-300 DAB tuner, with FM and AM. Optical digital output; stereo RCA output. Aerial inputs for DAB (F connector), FM (75 Ohm) and AM.

Remote control and printed PDF copy of instruction manual included.

In full working order, well looked after over the years, with a few barely noticeable marks on top plate (see photos.) There are some marks around the Toslink output, which was replaced with a new unit a while ago. Selling because it's been replaced with a DAB tuner with professional XLR outputs.

No DAB aerial included, but it does receive all stations using a telescopic DAB aerial; reception however does depend on location. I can provide a drawing for a very cheap and very effective internal DAB aerial if required. (See below.)

Please note: this does not receive the new DAB+ stations like Classic FM--which changed just a month or so ago-but these can be listened to via the FM band. All BBC stations and many others are still broadcasting DAB and will be received. See: https://getdigitalradio.com/your-stations/national-stations/

Instructions for making an internal DAB aerial:

1: Take 1.5m of 75 Ohm antenna cable.
2: Strip 30cm of the cover and shield, leaving only the inner core.
(You can tape a loop of string to this end to hold it vertical later.)
3: Strip off only the outer cover for 23cm. leaving the shield and core intact.
4: Make two coils 50mm in diameter; use ties or insulating tape to hold them together.
5: Fix an F connector to the end of the cable.
6: Position vertically.
(This design was originally developed by Siemens when they were developing DAB receiver modules and DAB was in its early days and reception could be weak or very variable. It's still very effective especially if you're some way from a transmitter or where a telescopic antenna doesn't tune in all the possible stations.)
