You are buying a used vinyl record of Mr. Bungle by Mr. Bungle. A 2009 Plain Recordings pressed on 180 gram black vinyl. For anyone unaware Plain somehow had the rights to press many of the biggest alt rock albums from the 90s. Even though they had a head start by making records since the early 00s when record collecting was at a low point, Plain couldn't couldn't capitalize off the vinyl boom. Why you ask? Because their business plan was to go as cheap as possible. Cheap jackets, cheap presses (I think most were made at the turd factory known as Rainbo), and sold on Amazon for cheap (back when Bezos used to just fling them in a big empty box).

Unfortunately, this demented masterpiece is often out of print so these Plain pressings have shot up in value. This copy is heavy and flat, but has lots and lots of hazing/light scratches due to manufacturing not poor handling. I only played it once or twice in the 15 years since I've owned it. It should play fine but the big issue is the length of each side. Each one has like 35 minutes which means you have to crank the volume. Nothing wrong with that (Miles Davis has a few albums like this for instance), however people tend to see this as a problem (which is kind of true). It also means each scratch/pop gets amplified more than a regular pressing and I already explained how Plain were cheap asses with their releases. If you view this record as the chaos being it is and Plain having a punk rock ethos than you should be fine (the original is also 1 LP too). If you want a cleaner version, I bet the 2 LP (actually 3 sides) Music On Vinyl wins (I never heard it TBH and they are even pricier). Item will be shipped in a record mailer with a plastic sleeve to help prevent seam splits and "fragile" stickers. Thanks for looking.
