I am not a Case knife expert so please let me know if I have any information wrong. I posted this on facebook looking for help and got 20 people messaging me to buy it and 20 other people arguing when it was made. I was messaged by several “Case knife experts” that this is an early 1st issue Kodiak due to the unusual alligator floating sheath.

The knife has never been in the sheath from what I can tell. There are some minor scratches on the mirror polish blade due to 50+ years of storage and moving about.
