This is a very unique piece, not sure if its metal resin plastic or a mix of all of the above, it's got some weight to it. There is a very small scratch on the side saddle shown in picture 2 and a minor scratch at the base of the phone in picture 3. Overall it's in very good shape! It is a landline, but I don't have a phone jack to test out the keypad, based on its condition I would venture to say it works and was just used as decoration. That being said it's still untested so consider it As-Is. The Cradle for the Phone does turn a little bit side to side, I thought maybe it needed to be tightened or something but it's supposed to be that way, the cradle goes down when the phone hangs up and raises when being used (on/off). I do not believe it is real gold, maybe gold plated or layered, but you can see metal under the tiny scratch, either way, assume it's not real gold just gold paint. If I'm mistaken, lucky you!
