Intel i9 10980XE Extreme Edition, 128 GB RAM High End Desktop PC

Powerful machine which was purchased brand new at a cost of £3,000 for use. The machine has been very reliable during its time with us and recently our need for the machine has now come to an end. We have refurbished the machine in preparation for sale and it is keenly priced for a new owner. The specs are below:

CPU: Intel i9 10980XE Extreme Edition, with 18 Cores and 36 Threads.

RAM: 128GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600 DDR4 Ram (8 x 16gb sticks).

Motherboard: Asus WS Pro X299 ATX

SSD: 2TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus SSD

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 705 2GB.

Operating system: Fully licenced and Genuine Windows 10 Pro.

Power: NZXT C750 80 PLUS Gold Fully Modular ATX 750 Watt Power Supply.

Case: NZXT ATX Case. There are some minor marks on the case to indicate use but overall in good condition. The protective film on the glass section was not taken off and remains intact. The protective film has some marks on it but these do not appear to have carried over onto the glass. The protective film can be removed by the new owner if so required (it is meant to be removed upon purchase but we left it on).

Case cooling: NZXT Case fans

CPU cooling: NZXT Kraken X63 AIO CPU Liquid Cooler with radiator.

CPU installed using Arctic MX-6 (the best thermal paste). New Arctic Paste has been reapplied.

USB: USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A & Type-C Ports for the Ultimate-Speed. Also has 4 X USB 3.1 Ports.

Sound: 7.1 Channel Audio with DTS

Internet: 2 x 1GBE Lan connectors

Other Connections: 5 x Pcie Slots, 6 x Sata Ports, 1 x U.2 Port, 2 x M.2 Ports

Machine Runs quietly. Comes with the boxes when the machine was purchased brand new.

The maximum processor speed according to Intel is 4.60 GHZ.  Processor currently set to run at 4GHz for optimal balance between performance and stability.

Another benefit of this CPU is that it also gives you access to the full 48 Pcie lanes that the X299 motherboard has to offer. This means you can easily run two powerful GPU’s and still have Pcie lanes free for other peripherals! (for example).

The currently installed GPU is a basic one just to get the machine up and running and fully tested (Intel do not give the X299 platform the discourtesy of "integrated graphics"). 

You can upgrade the GPU(s) to your requirements. If you do not know how to upgrade / install the GPU please simply get in touch. If you do not know which GPU you need, please also get in touch. If you need a GPU, we may be able to supply at cost.

RAM can be set to run at different speeds, currently set to run at 3,200mhz for optimal balance between performance and stability.

Due to the nature of the item, item can be collected, it can be sent by courier or you can arrange your own courier to collect it from us. Alternatively, item can be dropped off if you are not far away. Please get in touch prior to purchase to discuss transport as this is done at the buyers risk (see below).

Uses: (some examples): This machine can be used for anything and will take whatever you throw at it (depending on your GPU choice of course). It can be set up to work like a normal desktop (current set up), a workstation or even a server. It will easily handle some of the following intensive tasks for example: very high end gaming, high quality video capture, editing or rendering, simultaneous multi channel live streaming and simultaneous multi channel recording (also including multi channel recording & streaming at the same time). There are many other uses that the machine will be good for, please get in touch to discuss whether the machine will be suitable for your use if you are unsure.

Given the cost of the item, if the distances are feasible, we don't mind discussing options regarding transport.

If we are sending the item via courier through ebay, then the service is purchased from you. If you opt to use a courier via ebay, we strongly recommend that your purchase insurance to cover the value of the item against damage. We are not couriers and have no control over the package once it leaves our hands.

If you wish to use a courier, we would prefer you arrange your own courier to collect (we will pack the machine up of course).

If you are an overseas buyer, it is strongly recommended that you purchase insurance to cover the value of the item during transit. This is because we have no control over the package being opened by Customs in your territory and them failing to re-package the item properly prior to delivery.
