Two 1839 Mary Chawner Solid Silver Fiddle, Thread & Husk Dessert Spoons

Full English Hallmarks for Mary Chawner, London, 1839. Fancy husk shell back bowl.

Lovely shell detail to the terminal on both sides and also to the back, which adds support.

Crested to the terminal.

A super pair sterling silver Antique spoons by highly collectable lady silversmith Mary Chawner, widow of William Chawner II of London. Hallmarks which are crisp and clear to be found to the reverse.

Good pair of solid dessert spoons, in excellent pre-loved and used antique condition with just minor bite marks to the spoon backs, as expected from such items.

Measurements approximately:

Weight: 126.68g

I have given them a quick wipe over, but as with all my items I don't over clean or polish. There may be the odd age related wear/mark commensurate with age, anything of note is listed above.
