I believe that it is lacquer and has gold coloured trim. I cannot find any hallmarks on it.

The top of the cap has the initials CF. The pen was received in 1986.

NOTE THAT THREAD ON THE BLACK PART THAT HOLDS THE NIB TO THE PEN BODY HAS GONE SO IT DOES NOT HOLD SECURELY TO THE REST OF THE PEN.
